middle back pain

I've had constant pain for a couple of years. Seems to have worsened recently. Pain location - "photos by jason" photo of two bodies - one on left has the word "muscle" on the left side of body. My pain is on the right, but at that location. Also have pain on same side between shoulder blade and arm/shoulder. Went to doctor this week - prescribed naproxen 500mg - didn't help at all. Also prescribed cyclobenzaprine - puts me to sleep still have pain. Scheduled for xrays next week. HELP
