BackZilla for Back Pain

The BackZilla Pain Community Will Help

I've noticed that, on and off, I have had pain in my upper left back, next to my spine if I breathe too deeply. This pain may also spread down around my ribs on occasion. I was wondering if anyone may know what may be the cause?

I have the same thing and can't figure it out. I have a pressure type pain on the left of my spine and then the pressure, dull ache can be felt under my left rib. I have had a Abdominal Cat Scan, Blood test, Cardiac Stress Test, EKG and they were all normal. It just won't go away and is driving me crazy! It is more annoying then painful. I can still do my every day normal lifting, walking, ect, If I knew it was not life threatening and all related to my back, I cold live with it, I think!
I know exactly what you mean. I have the exact same issues only mine also involes my left shoulder blade. It feels crampy too. I 've had blood test done on my pancreas, liver and kidneys and all seems fine. I had an endo, colon done about two years ago and that was good. I went to a chiro and he said my spine was imobile in two places, and those two places were exactly (to the left) where my problems were. However, I still have the sharp pains and dull ache on my left side. My thinking is just like you, if I knew it was just my back I could live with it. I had my gall bladder out about a year ago and I am not sure i that has something to do with it. Have you had your out? Having had these pains for the last 2/1/2 - 3 months, I am at a lost too.
