lower left side back

Hi I am experiencing pain in my lower left side of my back to the point where I cannot stand on my left foot.. ex cant change clothes without leaning on something .. and I cannot walk without limping. I want to know what this is caused from. I did have a baby 8 months ago and also had an epideral. Could this be caused from the epideral or is it just really bad pain like a bruise??
